Paul Crouch – TBN Founder, Wants To Hear From You…

When we started this amazing journey nearly forty years ago, we had little idea that one day TBN’s influence would span the globe with 24-hour faith and family broadcasting, but we knew we were pioneers of sorts, and we felt a responsibility to use all the resources at our command to bring our growing audience the very best in inspirational, religious, and family-friendly programming.

Today across America and around the world, TBN stands for the finest in faith-and-family television. We are currently ranked as the third largest television broadcast group in America, and TBN reaches every major continent via 70 satellites and more than 18,000 television and cable affiliates worldwide. None of this would be possible without God’s leading, favor and protection over all these years.

TBN’s mission statement is to ‘Take the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world”. We work every day to fulfill this calling. TBN is made possible by the support and prayers of our partners and friends. We cannot do our job without the support of people all around the world. Thank you TBN partners for supporting us as we continue to fulfill our calling to expand TBN’s coverage around the world. Thank You!

Paul Crouch Talks About TBN’s Digital Advances:

“It started way back in 1973 with one low-power television station in Southern California,” recalled TBN’s Chief of Staff Paul Crouch Jr. “And in the nearly 40 years since then we’ve grown into the world’s largest religious broadcaster and most requested Christian network, reaching literally every corner of the earth.”

Click here for more information on getting all of TBN’s channels on your mobile devices.

With more and more people accessing programs and video through their mobile devices and smart phones, in the spring of 2010 TBN introduced an exciting new app. for Apple’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, giving users access to all of its 24-hour inspirational channels, including TBN’s flagship network, the Church Channel, the JCTV youth network, Smile of a Child kids network, TBN Enlace USA Spanish language network, the Arabic language Healing Channel, and Nejat TV in Farsi.

“We had such an overwhelming response to this revolutionary viewing option that we quickly followed up by adding live viewing capabilities for smart phones like the Blackberry, Android, and Windows Mobile,” said Crouch. “That means smart phone users can now view all of TBN’s networks 24 hours a day, and can even access archives of our most popular programs.”

Crouch noted that in the U.S. alone, TBN has over 81,380,000 cable and satellite subscribers, not to mention the 27 million households it reaches via traditional broadcast. “All told,” said Crouch, “we’re reaching nearly 102,665,000 households every day with wholesome, entertaining, and uplifting programming for the whole family.”

But broadcast is just the starting point for tuning in to all TBN has to offer. “Years ago we realized that computer and digital technology would revolutionize the way individuals view their favorite programs, movies, news, and other video content,” said Crouch. “That’s why we were one of the first networks to offer streaming video on our sites, and today viewers just about anywhere in the world can log on to our Homepage and watch TBN 24 Hours a Day in real time.”

Offering its networks to viewers via cell phones and mobile devices is part of a larger TBN strategy of using the latest technologies and most popular social networking applications to make inspirational programming accessible and relevant to the increasing numbers of viewers spending less time watching traditional TV and more time online. “There is a whole segment of young adults today who not only want the ability to watch their favorite shows from their iPhones and mobile devices, but they’re also keyed in to the added dimension of becoming part of the broadcast experience through social media like Facebook, Twitter, and Skype,” noted Crouch. “During programs like TBN’s daily Behind the Scenes, viewers are actually sending in real-time comments and feedback through Twitter and Facebook, and we’re using Skype for live-feed broadcasts and on-the-scene updates.”

  1. Be Blessed Dr. Crouch,
It is such a blessing that your sons are carrying out your dream and mission right along side you and Jan. I enjoy seeing them both and am always so tickled at how much Matt and Laurie remind me of You and Jan, back in the day!
    Love, Penny from fLORiDa

  2. I love TBN it has been a living source of Biblical
truth for my family and I for 34 yrs! I will support you till the day I die or were raptured out of here! Thank you for sacrificing your lives to save mine and millions of others around the world! So great is your reward! I can’t wait to see Jesus put His arms around you and say before all peoples… ” WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!!” I love you so much you’ll never know, how the impact of TBN, has effected me! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Peggi Thurman

  3. Paul,
I feel like I know you as brother and friend. Been a partner for so many years. I appreciate your integrity and the stand you take for God. I pray that God will keep you strong so you’ll be running the network for many more years. Love the annointed Praise the Lord programs and when the doctors are on. Especially enjoy when Paul, Jr. hosts with you. And little Jan- with her tears…what a sweetheart and treasure she is. Love and pray for you all. Only Heaven knows how your sacrifices have blessed the body of Christ. I teach 4th grade in public school and use some of your stories with my students (w/o telling them your name). Be encouraged. Stay strong. Know that Heaven will reward you appropriately for all you’ve done for the Kingdom. God is pleased with you. Words cannot express how much I love and appreciate all the Crouch family. Pray for public school teachers. You can imagine how many teachers/staff are Christians, what we go through, nor what goes on behind the scenes for God (prayer meetings, Bible studies, etc. all in a public school). It would bless your socks off if you did! Love you lots,
    Patty Miller

  5. II CHRONICLES 7:14, THRU
    THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST
    BY CARL H. LOWE

The church is the whole company of men, women, and children in all time and places, who unite themselves, in loyalty and obedience, to God’s activity in the world. The true chruch is the people of God, the people who acknowledge God’s rule as King and Father, those whom he has made peculiarly his own through grace; who have trustingly responded to his judgment and goodness and made themselves free servants of His Will.

Just like Israel, the church has been called “out of Egypt” and brought into full inheritance of the covenant promises. Its members function as one body (the instrument for Christ’s continuing self-expression in the world). They are the vineyard God tends, the flock he shepherds, the temple he visits, the household of those who are brothers and sisters in Christ because they are also the Sons and Daughters of their Father in Heaven.

They are a colony of heaven, a fellowship of the divine spirit, a paradigm on earth of the Heavenly Kingdom–an approximation in history to the eschatological summation of all things. The church, then, is a renewed Israel brought to its fulfillment in the great redemption of Jesus as the Christ.

This is their identity: God’s people in Christ, Messiah’s people. They function in history as a priestly people, representing God to the nations and the nations to God. They are true Stewards of Faith as servants, witnesses, and interpreters. Their aim is to have among themselves the mind of Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the only source of sanctification in this church, the truth on which it is built upon, and the moral power by which its members are brought to obedience, equipped for the ministry, brought to maturity, and unified in Christ Jesus, and each other. The faithful people of God are constituted solely on the basis of the divine guidance as these are responded to in trustful obedience.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. In short, the Word of God as answered by faith constitutes the church. Faith comes by hearing; hearing the Word of God. This society of faith rests on the ancient promise, is nurtured on the continuing presence, and moves with God through history toward a divine goal.

John 17:21-22 Jesus says, “That they all may be one; as you Father are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you have sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one:”

II Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, (Messiah’s people: All men, women, and children who has accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal savior, has been washed in his blood, and has been born again.) Which are called my name, (people who don’t mind being called children of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (The Father immesed in our mind, His Son immersed in our heart, His Holy Ghost immersed in our soul, sealed with the blood of the Lamb in this physical body, while we wait on our new glorified bodies).

We are brothers and sisters in Christ, and Sons and Daughters of our Father in Heaven.) Shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, (II Corinthians 4:6 says, seeing it is God that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”) God is so pure, holy, righteous, and powerful that no flesh can stand in his presence and live because God is a consuming fire. God loved us so much that He was willing to temper himself in His Son (Jesus Christ) to save us from our sin.

Temper means, “to make suitable, desirable, or free from excess by mingling with something else; reduce in intensity. Especially by the admixture of some other quality; moderate; assuage; mollify/ to temper criticism with reason.” (Webster’s New World College Dictionary) Jesus Christ is a pure, holy, righteous, and all powerful God in a human body. Jesus now has a new ressurected glorified body. “Matthew 4:4, Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

I am able to see the face of God when I read the red words in the Bible with understanding. John 14:9, Jesus said, “He that has see the Son has seen our Heavenly Father.”) and turn from their wicked ways; (our wicked thoughts, our wicked words, and our wicked deeds.) then will I forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I serve a prayer hearing prayer answering God. Yes God, forgive our sin and heal our land. I am also asking you to help all of the sin sick people in this world, and help this sin sick world.

Do whatever you want to do God. Demonstrate something so special to us that no one, spirit or human, will ever be able to come close to mimicing or duplicating your awesome work in our lives and in this world. Do something so special and so awesome that when you do it God all true believers, all deceivers, and all non-believers will say, God is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Beside this God, there is no other God.Amen.

I ask you God to do this for your name sake, and for your name sake only. We serve a jealous God, and God will not share your glory with anyone, or anything else. Amen.

  6. I want to thank Paul Crouch for making a spot on the church channel, which televises world wide, for my pastor Jerry Barnard of Daytona Beach.

  7. Dearest Paul & Jan,

My husband & I have been faithful partners since 1981, when our church in Florida at that time was featured on your Sunday morning programming. What a joy to have been able to see in person the many men and women of God who have passed through your network. I remember well seeing and listening to Dwight Thompson, Jerry Bernard, Roger McDuff, Gerry McGrath, and so many others that came to our church as you opened and promoted your new Florida station. It seems like only yesterday!

Since those years we have moved to many different states, but praise God, we’ve always managed to find TBN wherever we went, and have remained faithful partners, as a token of God’s faithfulness to us.

May the Lord continue to bless you, my dear brother and sister, for YOUR faithfulness to His call upon your lives, which has resulted in multiple blessings for US, the body of Christ, in return!!!

    Much Love,
    Paul & Maria McKiernan

P.S. – We celebrate 1973 as well – it’s the year of our wedding anniversary!

  8. Am really.happy to be part of this I got to know TBN as a child of 8yrs now am still young 35yr TBN is still flying the flag of righteousness. Keep it fkying high.

  9. Thank you Dr. Crouch for your faithful dedication to get the gospel around the world. Through many dangers, toils &.snares you have already come. T’was faith that brought you safe thus far, & faith will lead you home. God bless you. 🙂

  10. Your prayers are welcome in this area right now. They are calling for high winds 50-60 and 10 inches of rain. The ground is already saturated up here, this has caused alot of trees to fall and damage houses, power lines, etc. in the recent past. Thank you again for your prayers. Be well, be blessed.
    Sharon

  11. We are very thankful for TBN and every network created via TBN. Last year Dr. Paul you prayed with my wife and I at TMC for 1,700 harvesters to come along side us to build The Kingdom. We are seeing the fruit of our prayer come to pass!

  12. That you so much for creating a facebook page that continues to grow for Gods people. It is a great place for the Christain community to gather, fellowship, pray and praise with one another. This is a great world wide tool. Also I would like to thank you in advance for ITBN. TBN has meant so much to me over the years. I do give to TBN, thanks again, Much Love, Sharon ♥

  13. I have watched TBN for years. I normally do not watch network programs at night. Except for FOOTBALL and Dancing With the Stars. Keep up the good work!

  14. I have asked questions on FB before, but haven`t received any feedback, anyway there is a big storm brewing because Pat Robertson said today, Pastors who teach the rapture and I quote :they are erroneous:! Everyone is talking about the end times and the rapture of the Church, saying it is imminent, so whats up with Pat?

      • We really try to answer every question that we find on facebook. Comments are very important, especially prayer requests. Every now and then we may miss something, but it’s not deliberate.

      • Sweet Brother Paul, I am exicted about iTBN, question, Will the Broadcasts go back to 1984? I was a guest on TBN out in Fishkill, NY. and was a guest on the 911 Boradcast with many others Pastors , Karen Wheaten and Brother Munsey. Will we be able to view that older prodcast. I would love to come back as a guest on TBN again. My new book release Journey On The Path of Miracles (36yrs) of ministry and mMIRACLEs, is about to go into final print. I will send you a copy. Thank God for TBN and our precious Brother Paul and Sister Jan and family. God Bless You ALL!

  15. Yes. It’s so inspiring to see what God can do through faithful people who have the heart & desire to serve Him. Love your humility Dr. Crouch. I have heard you say on tv “God uses the foolish things of this earth.” I say, let us all be so foolish & be used by God for great things such as TBN!

  16. When you really think about how amazing it is that TBN started with one small station and no budget to speak of, it is a miracle that this network has grown in to the world’s largest Christian TV network. You guys are all over the world, and now also online. You even have a really great Facebook page! Thank you Paul Crouch and family for soldiering on when opposition was your daily bread. Look what God has done!
